Arcade Fire announced the arena tour in support of their recently released album Reflektor with this poster on their website.
They’ll hit Edmonton and Calgary before coming to a place listed as “Winnipeg, SK”.
Does the band believe Premier Brad Wall will go on a power-mad expansionist rampage by the August 14th date? Is there some small town called Winnipeg in Saskatchewan already that I’m not aware of? Is the artist who made the poster for the group just a little light on prairie geo? Is the band simply trying to provoke a hilarious overreaction from a group of people known for their inferiority complexes?
Regardless, check out the review of Reflektor by local favourites The Unbelievable Bargains right here on the Spectator Tribune.
