Those darn money grubbing, lazy, “do nothing all day but throw a little paint at a canvas” artists!
Well, turns out that Calgary Arts Development has a few things to say about that stereotype. It’s about time, too. There are a lot of excellent points made in this video that should just about overturn any stereotype that has been leveled towards artists of all sorts. Good job on their part for stepping forth and putting it bluntly! The Arts matter in our communities. Artists matter. They are an essential resource. What would our lives be like without them?
