Surrounded by the beauty of the Pembina Valley, the 14th perennial Harvest Moon Festival is a unique three-day festival that celebrates the harvest season and local music, while building bridges between communities across Manitoba, from the urban to the rural, north, south, east and west. The town of Clearwater is excited to once again host the 14th perennial festival September 18-20, 2015, and to share their community with visitors from across Manitoba and beyond.
For the past 14 years, the Harvest Moon Festival has helped support economic development and family farming in Southwestern Manitoba. As well as economic development and great music, education and information has always played a significant role in the event. Festival goers can attend informative and hands-on workshops, which are free with admission. In addition to music and workshops, there will be a children’s area, a free-range (open mic) stage, a fair-trade fair and farmer’s market, and tasty locally produced food from a variety of exciting food vendors.
This year’s unforgettable line-up includes the hearty homegrown talents of: The Bros. Landreth, Attica Riots, Dirty Catfish Brass Band (DCFBB), Greg Macpherson, Bad Country, The Reverend Rambler, Barta, Hot & Dirty Dance Party (Dr. Hotbottom & DCFBB), Mise en Scene, Kevin Roy, House of Gold Diamonds, Mika Dawn, The Catamounts, Until Red, Micah Visser, Ida Henderson, Andy Chamberlain, Lakes and Pines, iansucks, Tin Heart, Bowen, Ben Weibe, Warren Friesen, Timmy, and Bill Dowling
For the past two years, the festival has been a sell-out. So don’t be disappointed, buy your tickets early! Early bird tickets are available until September 7th in Winnipeg (Organic Planet), Clearwater (Clearwater Country Market), and Brandon (Two Farm Kids). Weekend Passes ($60 adult/$35 youth ages 12-17). Camping ($15 adult/$5 youth). Friday only ($30 adult/$15 youth). Saturday only ($40 adult/$20 youth). Mooner Pass (1-5 people, max 2 adults): $170 (does not include camping). After September 7, prices of all passes will increase.
