Wednesday, October 16th was World Food Day. To mark this day, Saskatchewan Food Bank asked their team about their “visions of a food secure community.”
To be honest, I haven’t thought of food put in this context before. A food secure community? I’ve not thought about it. I guess that is because, to this point, I have never had to wonder where my next meal will come from. But it’s safe to say that this is an issue worth thinking about, especially after hearing some of the interesting answers put forward here.
Good work by the Saskatchewan Food Bank in putting this together.
