No Solo Travel Chronicles presents ‘Buzludzha Monument’

This is my kind of traveling. I like old, abandoned Soviet sites like this. I haven’t had a chance to spend as much time as I would like exploring the decayed post-Soviet world, and watching a video like this from Jordi Garcia Rodriguez of No Solo Travel Chronicles makes me quite envious. Time to start making plans!

“An old, crazy, abandoned monument in Bulgaria. Where the communist regime was commemorating different sorts of events, parties and gatherings from 1981 till the fall of the iron curtain in 1989. Thanks to Anna Thieme I got to know it and spend around 5 hours exploring it.”
